U-20 WWC: Falconets will be stronger against China –Aduku

Nigeria’s U-20 female national team coach, Moses Aduku has promised a stronger performance by the Falconets ahead of their second World Cup Group F encounter against China in Poland.

Aduku who admitted that his team did not live up to expectations against Spain in their first group game said that they are focusing totally on the clash with Asian team, China.

According to Aduku, the Falconets have learnt their lessons from the first game and are ready to come out stronger for their second group match against China at the Stadion Sosnowiec on Thursday evening.

“We have put the match against Spain behind us and are focusing totally on the clash with China. The players are ready to come out stronger for the match against China,” Aduku told thenff.com.

Recall earlier that China U-20 female team coach Wang Jun gave a hint on the likely tactics that will be deployed by his team against the Falconets of Nigeria at the ongoing 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

China crushed debutants New Caledonia 5-0 in their first group encounter at the World Cup, while the Falconets lost 2-0 to the reigning European champions Spain on Monday.

Jun while speaking to the media ahead of the game said that China will rely on speed and strength to defeat the Falconets.

“In the next match, we will face Nigeria, and we will try to use our speed to win the match.” Jun was quoted as saying by FIFA.com.
