Busari invites 25 players for final camping ahead FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup
Nigeria U17 women national team, coach Hakeem Busari has invited 25 players to the team’s camp to begin preparations for the 2026 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
The tournament is billed to be hosted by Morocco from 17th October – 7th November.
The Flamingos defeated their counterparts from Bénin Republic home and away in the final round of the African qualification campaign to book a ticket to the global finals.
Since the competition was launched in New Zealand in 2008, Nigeria has only been missing from one edition of the global finals – the 2018 finals in Uruguay.
All the invited players have been advised to report to the Serob Legacy Hotel, Wuye, Abuja on Sunday, 30th August 2026.
