Brazil send Haiti packing with 3-0 thrashing

Haiti have become the first squad to be eliminated from the ongoing FIFA 2026 World Cup following a 3-0 loss to the Brazilian national team.

Brazil completely dominated the first half of the game under former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti in the Group C encounter played at the Philadelphia Stadium.

Manchester United striker Matheus Cunha scored a brace while Vinícius Júnior added a third goal right before the halftime break to keep the scores at 3-0 in favour of Brazil.

The game saw Raphinha subbed off with an injury while teenage sensation Endrick made his World Cup debut to the delight of the Brazilian fans.

After the game against hapless Haiti, Ancelotti disclosed that Neymar who has already missed two matches will be fit to play Brazil’s next game against Scotland.

“Neymar will train individually tomorrow, then Sunday back training with the team and then called up against Scotland”, announces Carlo Ancelotti after Brazil win against Haiti.

Both teams will play their final FIFA World Cup 2026 Group C matches on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, with Brazil tackling Scotland while Haiti will play against Morocco.
