Lionel Messi, the talisman for the Argentina national team has disclosed that playing England for the first time in his career at the semifinals of the 2026 World Cup will be special.
The eight-time Ballon d’or winner who made comments ahead of the highly anticipated encounter said that he has played against just about every team except England.
The Inter Miami schemer also noted that it is always exciting to face teams like England because they have a history in the game and are a football powerhouse.
“Facing England will be special! It’s my first time playing against England. I’ve played against just about everyone except them.
