UCL: Bayern crush Bodo/Glimt, Man Utd net four against Sabah FK
German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich opened their 2026/27 Champions League campaign on a winning note at the Allianz Arena with a 5-0 crushing win over Bodo/Glimt.
Bayern Munich tutored by former Belgium international Vincent Kompany found it really hard to break down the defense of Bodo/Glimt in the first half as the visitors stood their ground against the host team.
However, the floodgate of goals opened in the 47th minute when Jamal Musiala put Bayern ahead following an assist by Harry Kane. The England international then scored the second goal of the game in the 61st minute of encounter to make it 2-0 in favour of Bayern.
Anthony Davies made it 3-0 in the 77th minute before France winger Michael Olise scored two goals in the 83rd and 90+2 minutes to end the game with a 5-0 scoreline.

Elsewhere, Manchester United defeated SK Sabah FK by 4-0 with Cunha (27’), Bruno Fernandes (42’), Benjamin Sesko (45’) and Lisandro Martinez (68’) providing all the goals scored by the home team at Old Trafford.
Earlier Fenerbahce forced AS Roma to a 1-1 draw at home while Shakhtar Donetsk held PSV Eindhoven to a 1-1 draw away in a pulsating encounter.
Italian Serie A club, Como tutored by Spanish coach Cesc Fabregas beat German outfit RB Leipzig by 4-0, while Slavia Prague lost at home to French Ligue 1 clubside Lens.
