Tuchel calls up Chalobah as replacement for injured Livramento
England coach, Thomas Tuchel has called up Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah as replacement for injured Newcastle defender Tino Livramento who has now been ruled out of the World Cup.
England’s preparation has been rocked by the news of Livramento’s injury which has automatically dimmed his hopes of playing at the World Cup with Chalobah selected as an option to replace the defender.
According to reports, Livramento suffered a muscle injury that will keep him out for a long spell on the sidelines during training at the team’s World Cup Swope Soccer Village base in Missouri.
Chalobah clearly was close to being chosen for the squad originally, and now, he gets his chance to play at the World Cup ahead of Real Madrid right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.
