Super Eagles camp bubbles ahead of 2026 Unity Cup
No fewer than 17 players have arrived the Super Eagles camp in London ahead of the Unity Cup tournament set to kick off on Tuesday at the Valley Stadium.
The camp opened on Saturday with the coaching crew and some of the players arriving on the first day to begin preparations for the tournament.
The team held their first training session on Saturday with 14 players taking part including eight from the Nigeria Premier Football League.
On Sunday, Forward Rafiu Durosinmi, goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, and centre-back Chibuike Nwaiwu joined the camp.
Captain Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon and seven other players are expected to join the team on Monday ahead of the second training Monday evening.
The Super Eagles are the defending champions of the tournament after they defeated Ghana to win the trophy for the third time in 2025.

Eric Chelle’s team will open their 2026 campaign against Zimbabwe on Tuesday at The Valley, the home ground of Sky Bet Championship side Charlton Athletic.
