PSG qualify for second consecutive Champions League final
Paris Saint Germain have qualified for a second consecutive Champions League final following a 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.
The defending champions advanced via an aggregate win of 6-5 after the first leg ended 5-4 in Paris.
Both sides kept the lineups that started the first leg with the exception of Achraf Hakimi who was replaced by Zaïre-Emery.
Ousmane Dembele quickly gave the visitors the lead in the third minute with a thumping finish to stun the hosts.
Bayern Munich had two penalty shouts turned down by the referee as they battled to find their way back into the game.
In the second half, PSG missed great chances to put the game to bed before Harry Kane equalised for Bayern Munich in the 94th minute.
The former Tottenham striker produced a stunning finish from Alphonso Davies’ pass to make it 1-1. It was too little too late as PSG held on to advance.

Paris St-Germain Will now take on Arsenal in the Champions League final in Budapest on May 30.

Paris St-Germain are the first team to reach consecutive Champions League finals since Liverpool in 2019, and the first holders to reach the final since Real Madrid in 2018.
Bayern’s Harry Kane became just the second player to score in six consecutive Champions League knockout stage appearances, after Cristiano Ronaldo between 2012 and 2013.
There were just two goals scored from 33 shots between Bayern Munich and PSG tonight (6% conversion), after the first leg saw nine goals scored from 22 attempts (41% conversion).
