Osimhen nets brace as Galatasaray seal fourth consecutive Turkish title
Victor Osimhen scored a brace to help Galatasaray to a 4-2 win over Antalyalspor on Saturday, sealing an unprecedented fourth consecutive Turkish League title.
The Super Eagles star produced a match-winning performance to win his second league title in two years in Turkey.
Soner Dikmen gave Antalyalspor the lead late in the first half before Gabonese international Mario Lamina restored parity for Galatasaray in the 56th minute.
Dikmen restored Antalyalspor’s lead six minutes later for the second time in the encounter.
Osimhen brought Galatasaray back into the game from the penalty spot in the 66th minute.
He gave Galatasaray the lead two minutes from time before Kaan Ayhan made it 4-2 in the 95th minute to seal the win for the hosts.

The win was enough to seal Galatasaray’s fourth straight title as they moved four points clear of Fenerbache with one game to go.
They won it in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 to extend their dominance in the Turkish League.
Osimhen has now scored 15 goals and recorded five assists in 22 Turkish Super League to further establish his importance to the team.
He is expected to miss Galatasaray’s last match of the season against Kasimpasa next Sunday due to suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season.
Galatasaray have now won 26 Turkish Super League titles, the last time they won four in a row was between 1996 to 2000 under Fatih Terim.
