Victor Osimhen

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has declared that his club is prepared and ready for their much-anticipated Matchday 2 UEFA Champions League clash at home against La Liga champions, Barcelona FC.

Osimhen who made a successful return from an abductor injury over the weekend and is in contention to lead his team’s attack, said that one needs to play with excitement and seriousness at the same time when playing with a team like Barcelona.

Speaking with the Turkish media ahead of UCL match, Osimhen said that his team needs to show resistance from the onset of the game because Barcelona will have most of the possession during the game which will be played at Galatasaray’s home stadium.

“When you’re playing against a team with such quality players, you have to play with both excitement and seriousness; you need to apply pressure in the front area. They possess the ball a lot, so in a match like this, you need to show some resistance,” Osimhen was quoted by ahaber.
