Real Betis 1-0 Real Madrid
The Galacticos suffered their first league defeat of the season under Jose Mourinho after winning their first three games, scoring 10 goals.
In the clash against Real Betis they failed to find their scoring boots with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior firing blanks much to the frustration of Mourinho.
To make matters worse, Mbappe missed a last-minute penalty.
Mbappe became the first player ever to miss an injury-time penalty for Real Madrid when it could have given the team an equaliser.
Real Madrid have won only two of their last eight matches against Real Betis. In the last 10 seasons, Real Betis have won 12 points off Real Madrid.
The defeat leaves Real in third on the log with nine points in four games.
They will be hoping to bounce back in their next La Liga clash against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.

PSG 1-2 Monaco
Ligue 1 champions PSG suffered a shock 2-1 home defeat to Monaco to continue their poor start to the season.
The Luis Enrique-led side have failed to win in their first three matches of the season, drawing two and losing one.
It was the first time PSG had lost a game when leading at half-time since March 2021, when they were beaten by Nantes.
The victory propelled Monaco to the top of the log with nine points from three games, while PSG languish in 13th.
Monaco coach Felipe Luis is the first manager to win his first five matches in the history of the club.
PSG will be hoping to earn their first win of the season when they take on Brest on Sunday.
Monaco will face Lens on Friday as they aim to continue their stunning start to the season.

Marseille 2-3 Paris FC
Marseille suffered a shock 3-2 defeat at home to Paris FC.
Paris FC have enjoyed an impressive start to the season under new coach Liam Rosenior, winning two and drawing one to occupy the third position on the log.
You have to go all the way back to 1978 for the last time Paris FC earned a point against Marseille at Stade Velodrome, finding an equaliser in the 90th minute to claim a 1-1 draw.
Marseille, on the other hand, have won one and lost two to sit 10th on the table.
Paris FC will return to action against Lyon while Marseille will take on Rennes.
Schalke 0-0 Bayern Munich
Bundesliga defending champions Bayern Munich were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by newly-promoted Schalke to end their impressive scoring run.
The Bavarians failed to score for the first time in 59 competitive match.
Schalke goalkeeper Loris Karius was in an impressive form, making five saves to deny Bayern Munich.
The draw leaves Bayern Munich sixth on the log with one win and one draw in their opening two matches.
It is the first time in 67 Bundesliga matchdays – almost two years – that Bayern will not finish on top of the table.
Schalke occupy the 14th position with one draw and one defeat.
Bayern Munich will return to action against Elversberg, while Schalke will face Union Berlin on Friday.
