Arsenal’s charismatic goalkeeper David Raya has clinched the Premier League Golden Glove for the third consecutive season-an award he may share with Man City’s, Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The Golden Glove is awarded to the goalkeeper who keeps the most clean sheets in a single Premier League season.

A ‘clean sheet’ refers to a full game in which a team does not concede a goal.

Raya is way ahead of the chasing pack behind him as he has bagged four more clean sheets ahead of Donnarumma, and six above Everton’s Jordan Pickford and Dean Henderson of Crystal Palace FC.

By winning his third Golden Glove Award, the Spanish player now joins; Ederson, Joe Hart and Pepe Reina in the exclusive list of goalkeepers to have achieved the feat.
