Arsenal FC beat a stubborn West Ham side 1-0 on Sunday at the London Olympics Stadium, thus establishing a 5-point lead ahead of Manchester City.

The ‘Hammers’ gave the ‘Gunners’ a tough run in the grueling game with Arsenal gunning for the league title and West Ham battling to avoid the drop.

The game opened in the second half with West Ham containing a wave of attack launched by a hungry Arsenal side longing for their first EPL title in 22-years.

Belgium international Leandro Trossard scored a superb strike in the 83rd minute after Martin Odegaard teed him up in the 18-yard box.

However, Arsenal were spared their blushes in the 95th minute of the game when VAR rule out a goal scored by C. Wilson, thus restoring the lead of the North London club.

The win places Arsenal 5-points ahead of closest rivals Man City as they now hope two win their next two games against Burnley and Crystal Palace to clinch the 2025/2025 EPL.
