Ajayi sets EPL target as Hull City player after Man Utd heroics
Super Eagles defender, Semi Ajayi has set a personal target as a player in the new football season for his club Hull City following his impressive display in their opening 2-1 win against Manchester United in an EPL opening game played on Saturday.
Ajayi who scored Hull City’s first goal in the game against Manchester United said that the experience thus far has been amazing as he wants to play at the highest level and test himself at the highest level.
The lanky defender who was speaking to the English media ahead of his club’s weekend game against Coventry City said that he just wants to win as many games as possible for Hull City and is ready to help his team to keep its place in the Premier League.
“It’s amazing. I want to play at the highest level and test myself at the highest level”, the Super Eagles defender to RG.

“The Championship fight was not easy, but we proved that our team’s quality is able to challenge in the Premier League. It was really a successful season for us, going to Wembley. To be able to achieve that and get the opportunity to be here this season is massive.
“Personally, I just want to win as many games as possible. I will be ready to help the team to keep our place in the Premier League.
“We know it is not an easy fight, and we had a good pre-season preparation for it.” Ajayi concluded.
The 32-year-old former Arsenal player whose heroic performance against Manchester United earned him a nomination for the Premier League Player of the Week award has now been cleared fit for his club’s next game after escaping a hamstring injury.
