Flying Eagles vs Ghana

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria, led by head coach Abdul Makaiba, defeated their Togolese counterparts 3-0 in the ongoing WAFU B U-20 tournament taking place in Ivory Coast.

The second Group B game played in the city of Yamoussoukro witnessed a drab first half as both teams tried to size each other up with low-block tactics.

However, the Flying Eagles took the game to their opponents with greater purpose in the second half of the game, which paid off when the Nigerian team broke the deadlock.

It was Muiz Adeleke who scored the first goal for the Nigerian U-20 team when he found the back of the net with a cool finish, one minute after the blast of the second half whistle.
