Super Falcons crash out of 2026 WAFCON
The Super Falcons suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Cameroon to crash out of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
Myriam Nyadjou scored a sublime free kick to beat Chiamaka Nnadozie in goal for Nigeria in the 19th minute.
The Super Falcons struggled to find their way back into the game but the Indomitable Lionesses held on to seal an historic win to end their losing run against Nigeria.

The Super Falcons had eliminated Cameroon in the last three editions of the tournament in 2016, 2018 and 2022.
Thanks to the victory, Cameroon have also booked their place in the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
