Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace to lead Al Nassr to the 2025-26 Saudi Arabia League title on Thursday following a 4-1 win over Damac on the final day of the season.

The Portuguese captain produced a match-winning performance to win his first major title in Saudi Arabia.

Al Nassr raced to a 2-0 lead through Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman in the first 51 minutes before Ronaldo added a free kick in the 62nd minute.

He made it 4-1 in the 80th minute with a clinical finish to seal the win and ultimately the title for Al Nassr.

He was voted the player of the match in the encounter.

It was Al Nassr’s first league title since 2019 as they finished two points clear of Al Hilal.

It was Ronaldo’s first league title since leading Juventus to the Italian Serie A title in 2020.

The 41-year-old has now added the Saudi championship to his English, Spanish and Italian titles and five Champions League medals.

Before winning the title, Ronaldo endured a series of disappointments after losing in the King’s Cup final to Al Hilal on penalties in 2024 a year after joining the club.

He was also on the losing side when Al Nassr suffered a 1-0 defeat to Gamba Osaka in the Asian Champions League final on Saturday.

Ronaldo scored a total of 28 goals in 30 matches for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League to finish third in the top scorers list behind Ivan Toney, who scored 32 goals and top scorer, Julian Quinones of Al Qadsiah, who finished the season with 33 goals.

Ronaldo has now won two trophies since joining the club in January 2023 after winning the Arab Club Champions Cup and the League title.
