Real Madrid set to trigger Denzel Dumfries €20m release clause from Inter Milan
Spanish clubside Real Madrid are set to trigger €20m release clause to secure the services of Dutch right-back Denzel Dumfries from Italian Serie A clubside, Inter Milan.
Reports say that Inter Milan have been informed on Tuesday night about the agreement reached between Real Madrid and the combative defender with formal steps to follow on the deal.
Dumfries has accepted to move to Spain with new coach José Mourinho said to have approved deals for both him and Liverpool’s Konaté to shore up Madrid’s defence next season.
The 30-year-old right-back has agreed to personal terms and will finalize his move upon the conclusion of the club’s presidential elections.

Dumfries is expected to provide top-tier experience and defensive depth, competing alongside recent signing Trent Alexander-Arnold and serving as a replacement for Dani Carvajal.
The development has now forced Inter Milan to now to advance on a deal to sign Marco Palestra as a replacement for Dumfries who is now heading Real Madrid.
Inter Milan are not the only interested party with Premier League clubs also keen to secure the signature of the player with a potential bidding war forcing his parent club Atalanta to start negotiating at €50m initial price tag.
