Rangers GM gifts team $10k for advancing to CAF CL second prelim round
The incumbent General Manager of Rangers International Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, has gifted the team $10,000 (₦13.2 million) in cash for securing qualification to the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
Amobi who announced the cash gift in a video on social media on Friday said that the cash gift is aimed at motivating the team for the tougher task ahead of the next phase of the competition against Algerian team, MC Alger in the month of October.
The Rangers International GM announced and presented the cash gift to the team captain following their hard fought away victory against AS Sobemap in Lome yesterday (Friday).

The Flying Antelopes secured the feat after a 5-4 penalty shootout win over AS Sobemap in Lome, at the Stade de Kegue, successfully breaking a tense 2-2 aggregate deadlock.
The token follows a highly lucrative season where the squad previously shared a massive N150 million prize pool and landed plots of land from the state government for emerging winners of the NPFL title.
