Hamburg boss talks up Moffi’s qualities ahead imminent transfer from Nice
Merlin Polzin, the coach of German Bundesliga club Hamburg FC has raved about the qualities of Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi ahead of his imminent move from French Ligue 1 side, Nice.
The coach who was speaking to the German media about his plans for the new season said that he has not seen or met Moffi in person but can’t wait to work with.
According to him, the player who spent last season on loan at Portuguese club, Porto has certain skills that can help his team achieve their objectives this season.
“I haven’t seen or met him myself yet. He’s a good player who certainly has numerous skills that would help us,” Polzin told Hamburger Morgenpost.

Hamburg agreed to a total package of €2.5 million, consisting of a €2 million fixed fee plus €500,000 in performance-related add-ons to sign the player from Nice.
The 27-year-old Nigerian international striker who had interest from other clubs in Europe has agreed to personal terms on a contract extending until June 2029.
Nice has granted Moffi permission to travel to Germany, where he is scheduled for routine medical examinations ahead of his final paperwork.
