Guardiola to leave Man City at end of season —Reports

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola is set to leave the club at the end of the season according to reports in England.

He joined the club in 2016 and he has enjoyed a successful time at the Etihad Stadiu, winning 20 trophies overall, but he is expected to leave the club in the summer.

According to reports from UK media, Guardiola will leave Etihad Stadium at the end of the season.

It is thought that City have begun to tell their sponsor partners that the announcement is imminent. The news has also been an open secret among some of those close to Guardiola.

It is expected that the news will be confirmed some time on Sunday, in time for Guardiola’s stunning impact on English football to be celebrated at an open-top bus parade on Monday.

It is said the parade build-up will start at Manchester’s Northern Quarter at 4pm before finishing outside the Colin Bell Stand reception at the Etihad Stadium an hour later.

Guardiola has led City to 20 trophies, including six Premier League titles, the Champions League, three FA Cups and five EFL Cups during his 10 years at City.

Under him, Man City became the first team to win the English league title four seasons in a row with their triumph in the 2023-24 campaign.

He is expected to take charge of his last match against Aston Villa on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.
