Dubois says he wants to fight Itauma ‘sooner’ after TKO win against Wardley

Boxing

British professional boxer and the reigning WBO World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Dubois has declared that he wants to fight his compatriot Moses Itauma sooner rather than later.

Dubois who has solidified his status as one of Britain’s top heavyweight fighters following a spectacular second-round knockout victory against Fabio Wardley last weekend at London’s 02 Arena says he wants to face all the tough fighters out there.

While drawing from the prolonged delay in the proposed boxing showdown between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, the 29-year-old boxer who is known by his nickname “Dynamite” told Sky Sport that he doesn’t want to wait too long to fight Itauma while also warning that he is ready to smash whoever he meets next in the boxing ring.

“I want to fight him [Itauma] sooner,” Dubois said. “Moses, anyone that can give me a challenge. All the toughest fighters out there I want to face.

“Let’s see. I’ll break them down now. I feel like I’m at that stage now. I know how I’ll have to break them all down, whoever I get in the ring with next, I’ll smash them up.” He added.

This development comes days after Dubois boldly declared that it his “time” and his “era”  demanding “big money and big fights” for his next boxing career moves.

Dubois has set his sights on maximising his payday and cementing his status at the top of the boxing division after he completely dismantled Wardley to retain his WBO heavyweight World title last weekend.
