Arsenal brush aside Man City to win Community Shield
Arsenal produced a sensational performance to defeat Manchester City 3-0 to win the 2026 Community Shield at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Sunday.

The Italian manager started Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal with the quartet of Josko Gvardiol, Nico O’Reilly, Ruben Dias, and Abdukodir Khusanov in defence.
New signing, Elliot Anderson, Mateo Kovacic, and Phil Foden started in midfield.
Jeremy Doku, Antoine Semenyo provided support for Erling Haaland in attack.
Arteta handed new signings, Bruno Guimaraes, and Christos Tzolis a starting shirt while the likes of Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice started on the bench.
The Gunners enjoyed a dreamy start with an early goal after just 25 seconds.

The early goal unsettled Man City as they struggled to get going in the encounter before Arsenal added the second goal.
Kai Havertz made it 2-0 with a well-placed header in the 28th minute.
Three minutes after the restart, Martin Odegaard produced a clinical finish to make it 3-0.
The Gunners held on to seal a deserved win to send a message to their Premier League rivals ahead of the season opener on Friday.
