Arokodare pens emotional message to Wolves fans after relegation
Gangling Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare has penned an emotional message to fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers following the team’s relegation from the EPL to the Championship.
Arokodare who officially signed from Belgian side Genk on a four-year contract with an optional 12-month extension took to his official Instagram page to thank fans of the club for their support despite an underwhelming season.
The 6ft 6inch striker who won the Belgian Pro League Golden Boot in the 2024/25 season said that despite having a tough period at Wolves he had some great personal moments playing for the club and it makes him proud to have shared them with the fans.

“A tough season for all of us, but feeling your support while you stuck with us this season is something I don’t take for granted.
“I’ve had some great personal moments and it makes me proud to have shared them with you all,” Arokodare wrote.
“Thanks for your support Wolves, see you next season.”
In the season gone by, Arokodare made no fewer than 33 appearances (13 starts and 20 as a substitute), scoring 3 goals, providing 1 assist, and received just one yellow card.
