World Cup winners to receive historic rings worth over $900k
The eventual winners of the 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina will become the first-ever national team to receive bespoke championship rings.
Following the July 19 final at New York New Jersey Stadium, the winning team’s captain and coach will receive temporary rings for the immediate celebrations while the final 30 custom-fitted rings will be officially awarded at a later date.
The exact cost per unit for the championship rings is estimated to be between \(\$30,000\) and \(\$50,000\) with the final price to be determined depending on the exact material finishes and diamond inlays.
Only 30 rings will be awarded to the winning team’s players and coaching staff, and that translates to over $900k worth of luxury accessories awarded alongside the iconic trophy and gold medals.

Each ring will feature the World Cup trophy on one side, while the opposite face will be customized to reflect the specific identity of the winning nation.
“One side of the ring proudly features the FIFA World Cup trophy, while the other will be customised to reflect the identity of the winning team. Each ring will be individually numbered, custom-fitted and delivered with its own certificate of authenticity.
“Immediately after the final, the captain and head coach of the winning team will receive temporary rings to commemorate the occasion. Each of the 30 rings for the winners will then be customised before being officially presented at a later date, ensuring the perfect lifelong fit for an achievement that will echo through eternity,” a statement on FIFA’s website read in part.
The historic rings which will celebrate the World Cup winners with a highly exclusive design is said to be inspired by North American sports traditions.
