The ex-international who made the remarks during an interview on Brila FM added that not winning WAFCON is understandable but losing the World Cup ticket is unforgivable.
“Not picking the World Cup ticket is an insult,” Udeze said on Brila FM. “I don’t blame them for not winning the WAFCON but what really pained me is not picking the World Cup ticket.”
Udeze who once plied his trade for Greek club, PAOK and English club, West Bromwich Albion said that overconfidence and disunity could be factors why the Super Falcons failed at the 2026 WAFCON.
