Real Madrid has set a new global football record after surpassing €1.2 billion in revenue, reinforcing the club’s status as the most commercially viable brand in world football.

The Spanish giants achieved the milestone through massive growth in commercial activities, matchday earnings, and stadium operations linked to the revamped Santiago Bernabeu.

According to the club’s latest financial figures, the biggest contributor to the historic revenue was the commercial sector, which generated approximately €594 million.

Merchandise sales, global retail expansion, and several lucrative sponsorship agreements significantly boosted the club’s earnings during the financial year.

Matchday and stadium-related income also played a major role in the record-breaking numbers, bringing around €233 million. The newly modernized Santiago Bernabeu has also become a major revenue engine for the club, with strong attendance figures, hospitality services, premium seating, and non-football events contributing heavily to overall income.

Club president Florentino Perez has repeatedly emphasized the importance of transforming the Bernabeu into a year-round entertainment and business hub rather than just a football stadium.

The redevelopment project is already yielding significant returns, with expectations that future concerts, events, and commercial partnerships will generate even greater income in the coming years.
