Mbappe shines as Real Madrid brush aside Rayo Vallecano
Real Madrid strolled to a comfortable 4-1 win over Rayo Vallecano at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday in a 2026-27 La Liga encounter.
The Jose Mourinho-led side bounced back in style from the 1-0 loss to Real Betis to return to winning ways again at home.
Real Madrid raced to a 3-0 lead in the first 35 minutes thanks to goals from Kylian Mbappe, Alvaro Carreras, and Jude Bellingham.
Mbappe scored from the spot after Carreras was fouled in the box in the 14th minute.

He turned the provider three minutes later to assist Carreras for the second to make it 2-0.
10 minutes before halftime, Bellingham finished off a Vinicius cut-back to make it 3-0.
Sergio Camello reduced the deficit for Rayo Vallecano in the 51st minute before Mbappe rounded off victory with a close range finish in the 91st minute.
Real Madrid will return to La Liga action on Tuesday when they take on Elche.
