Iheanacho wins second trophy for Celtic in seven days

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho was on target for Celtic in a 3-1 win over Dunfermline in the Scottish Cup final on Saturday.

Iheanacho has enjoyed a successful time on the pitch in the last one week, he won the Scottish League last Saturday before playing a key role in the Scottish Cup triumph seven days later.

Celtic raced to a 2-0 lead in the first half thanks to goals from Daizen Maeda and Arne Engels.

Maeda produced a stunning finish in the 19th minute to open the scoring for Celtic in the 19th minute before Engels added the second goal with long range effort in the 36th minute.

Kelechi Iheanacho came off the bench in the second half to score the third goal in the 73rd minute following a solo run to lead Celtic to a record 63rd Scottish Cup.

Josh Cooper reduced the deficit for Dunfermline in the 80th minute.

The former Leicester City star has produced moments of individual brilliance for the club since joining them in the summer.

He has now won a domestic double for the first time in his career after leading Celtic to the League and Cup glory.

Iheanacho scored nine goals in 24 appearances for Celtic in the Scottish League this season.
