Ola Aina injured

Vitor Pereira, the coach of English Premier League (EPL) club, Nottingham Forest is hopeful for the soonest return of Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina, for the club’s next game against London based rivals, Chelsea.

Fears were raised on Thursday when Aina was subbed off after receiving treatment in the second half of the EUROPA League semifinal game which Nottingham Forest won 1-0 against Aston Villa.

In his pre-match presser on Friday ahead of his team’s game against Chelsea, Pereira said he hope’s Aina will be fit and in the right condition for the forthcoming EPL game.

“I said to him (Aina), I’m sorry but it’s impossible for you to be injured! He said he will be in the right condition, and I hope he will,” Pereira said.

“Honestly, I don’t know (if any players will return from injury). We had bad luck to lose two wingers in Callum and Dan. We’ve had bad luck to lose two centre-backs in Murillo and Jair, and Sangaré.

“This is a big opportunity for the players who are working hard to play and to prove they are in the right condition to help us in this special moment of the season,” he added.
