Real Madrid announced on Thursday that they have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign Yan Diomande ahead of the 2026-27 La Liga season.
According to reports, Real Madrid will pay €125 million fee, plus €10 million in easily-achievable bonuses and a further €5 million in bonuses that are harder to achieve.
The Ivorian winger signed a seven-year deal to team up Jose Mourinho’s side after Leipzig turned down offers from Liverpool, and PSG while Manchester City and Arsenal made enquiries about him.
The Spanish club confirmed his signing with a statement on their website.
The statement read: “Real Madrid C.F. and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Yan Diomande, who will be linked to our club for the next seven seasons, until June 30, 2033.”
Diomande enjoyed a breakout season in the Bundesliga last year, scoring 12 goals and recording eight assists and he was also named the Bundesliga’s Young Player of the Season.

He becomes Real Madrid’s sixth signing of the season following in the footsteps of Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries, Marc Cucurella and Carlos Espi.
