“Another proud moment for me off the pitch,” Awoniyi wrote on Instagram.
“Graduating from the PFA Business School with a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Football Sport Directorship with Merit.
“I have always believed that being a footballer shouldn’t stop you from being a student of the game, and education has become an important part of that journey for me.
“Still playing. Still learning. The journey continues.” He concluded.
This is Awoniyi’s third academic degree earned so far, adding to a previous Diploma in Business and Marketing and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
Recall that Awoniyi completed a permanent move to newly promoted Coventry City in August 2026 in a deal valued at around £17 million. The player left Nottingham Forest to join Frank Lampard’s side after struggling for playing time at his former club with fierce competition for a starting centre forward role.
