Real Madrid deny agreeing personal terms with Bayern’s Michael Olise
Top-flight Spanish La Liga clubside Real Madrid have denied reports making the rounds in the media that it has expressly agreed personal terms with talented France and Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise to move to the Bernabeu.
The media space has been awash in recent times with speculation of Olise’s purported move to Spain with media outlet, Marca reporting that Real Madrid were considering a staggering €220 million bid to sign the former Crystal Palace player.
Other rumours being peddled claimed that the move to sign the player was backed by Kylian Mbappé, who reportedly wanted his France international teammate to join him at Real Madrid.
The speculation has now been debunked in a statement issued on Saturday by Real Madrid which stated that it has not had any direct or indirect contact with the aforementioned player, his representatives, or anyone in his entourage.

The club said that it regrets the spread of speculation that does not correspond to reality and also highlighted the excellent institutional relationship it maintains with Bayern Munich, with whom it shares a long history of mutual respect,
The statement reads; “In response to reports in various media outlets regarding an alleged interest from our club in Bayern Munich player Michael Olise, Real Madrid CF wishes to state that it has not had any direct or indirect contact with the aforementioned player, his representatives, or anyone in his entourage.
“Real Madrid also wishes to highlight the excellent institutional relationship it maintains with Bayern Munich, with whom it shares a long history of mutual respect, collaboration and admiration, and regrets the spread of speculation that does not correspond to reality.
“Both clubs have always maintained a relationship based on trust and mutual respect, which is reflected, among other aspects, in the shared conviction that any potential interest in a player belonging to the other club must be dealt with first between the entities themselves, in accordance with the principles of institutional loyalty that have historically governed the relations between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid,” the statement concluded.
