Lookman fired up for Super Eagles ties against Madagascar, Guinea-Bissau
Athletico Madrid of Spain winger Ademola Lookman has described the upcoming AFCON qualifying fixtures between Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau as two difficult games.
The Super Eagles player who opened up to the Spanish media on Saturday said that both opponents would be difficult to face but players of the senior national team of Nigeria are looking forward to the two games.
The former African footballer of the year added that both games can be won and the Super Eagles would do everything possible to achieve a positive results in the two games.
“The whole team is looking forward to it. Two very important games are approaching, and the opponents are, of course, difficult to face. But we are looking forward to winning these two games”, Lookman said.

“We know that the games will be difficult, but we will do everything possible to achieve it,” he added.
The opening two fixtures of the AFCON qualification rounds involving the Super Eagles will take place during the September 2026 international break.
The Super Eagles tutored by Malian head coach Eric Chelle will play against Madagascar on 25 September at the magnificent Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
Four days later, 29 September to be precise, the three-time AFCON winners will square up against Guinea-Bissau at the de Setembro National Stadium, in Bissau.
