Guinea-Bissau earned a stunning 3-0 win over Nigeria in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers clash at the September 24 Stadium in Bissau on Tuesday.

The Djurtus produced an impressive performance to shock the Super Eagles to continue their impressive start to the Nations Cup qualifiers.

Eric Chelle made three changes to the team that defeated Madagascar in Uyo on Friday with Taiwo Awoniyi, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Frank Onyeka starting.

The team struggled to have a hold on the game in the opening minutes before the hosts took a shock lead.

Franculino Djú gave Guinea-Bissau the lead with a close range finish which evaded the attention of Stanley Nwabali after the Super Eagles defenders were caught napping.

Frank Onyeka misses a glorious chance to restore parity for Nigeria in the 28th minute.

Nwabali made an impressive save to deny Beto on the stroke of halftime as Guinea-Bissau held on to go into the break with a 1-0 lead.
