Door open for Ronaldo’s return to Portugal national team –Coach
Portugal coach Jorge Jesus has revealed that the door is opened for Cristiano Ronaldo to return to the national team following the disagreement between the pair last week.
The Al-Nassr forward left the team’s camp after being an unused substitute against Norway and then finding out he would not start against Denmark.
In his absence, The team have won their first four games of the tournament to qualify for the the last eight.
Jesus confirmed that Ronaldo can return to the team if he is interested.
He said: “We can talk before the next call-up, but Cris is the one who’s going to decide.

“Cristiano should end his time in the national team the way he wants, he’s the one who will decide how he wants it.
“In my first call-up, I said, ‘I need you, I need you to be close to me, playing or not playing, I need you’. And now I’m saying the same thing.”
Ronaldo started the opening game against Wolves but was an unused sub in the clash against Norway.
It was the first time he had been an unused substitute for his country in a competitive game since 2008.
The Portuguese team have enjoyed an impressive start to life under Jorge Jesus, winning their first four matches since he took over after the World Cup.
