It was a bad day at the office for punters last weekend after the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, and Real Madrid suffered defeats in their respective league matches.
FirstDailySports takes a look at the most shocking results across European leagues last weekend.
Brentford 3-0 Chelsea
The Blues suffered their second defeat of the season at the Gtech Community Stadium following a poor second half performance.
The first half ended 0-0 but the Blues capitulated in the second half to concede three goals.
Brentford continued their unbeaten start to the new season with two wins and three draws in five matches to occupy the fourth position on the Premier League log.
The defeat leaves Chelsea in 10th with seven points from five matches.
The Blues will hope to bounce back from the defeat when they take on Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on October 10 after the international break.
Brentford will aim to continue their unbeaten start against Aston Villa on the same day.

Brighton 3-0 Arsenal
Brighton ended a stunning week with a complete performance to brush aside Arsenal 3-0 at the Amex Stadium on Saturday in one of the most shocking results in the Premier League this season.
The Seagulls defeated Manchester United in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday at Old Trafford before following it up with another remarkable showing against the defending champions.
The visitors struggled to get going in the encounter after going 2-0 behind in the first half before Brighton added the third goal in the second half to seal the win.
Consequently, Arsenal relinquished the top position to Man City following the defeat but they have earned 12 points from five games.
Brighton have won three, drawn one and lost one to occupy the third position with 10 points.
Up next for Arsenal after the international break is a clash against Leeds United on October 10, while Brighton will face Sunderland on the same day.

Atletico Madrid 2-1 Real Madrid
It was another disappointing performance from Real Madrid in the Madrid derby as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
It was their second defeat of the season which put their title hopes in doubt following Barcelona’s stunning start to the season.
It was a bad tempered encounter as Real Madrid’s Dean Huljsen was sent off in the 52nd minute.
The controversy continued after the game with Real Madrid and Jose Mourinho accusing the referee of favouring Atletico Madrid.
Real Madrid have won five and lost two out of their first five games of the season to sit fourth on the log with 15 points, while Atletico Madrid have also won five, drawn one and lost one to occupy the second position with 16 points.
After the international break, Real Madrid will face Villarreal on October 10, while Atletico Madrid will take on Alaves on the same day.
