Tyson Fury announces Dublin fight date
British heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury has announced an August 1st fight in Dublin which will serve as a warm up before his showdown with Anthony Joshua in November.
Fury posted a video on Instagram showing him back in trading in Thailand ahead of his warm-up fight- with the opponent yet to be announced.
In the video with Fury was Thailand-based boxing coach Robert “Sifu” McInnes- who first spilled the beans about boxer’s next fight date.

McInnes said; “First time back in camp ready for the fight on August 1st. Tyson Fury’s home.”
Fury later captioned the video: “Let’s go August 1st, Dublin, Ireland.”
The Dublin fight which is scheduled to take place at the 3Arena will feature a lightweight battle between Mark Chamberlain and Pierce O’Leary.
Anthony Joshua will face Albanian Kristian Prenga in Riyadh on July 25 before he is expected to battle Fury later in 2026 after years of failed negotiations and collapsed talks surrounding the blockbuster clash.
