Eguavoen unveils technical, backroom staff ahead Super Falcons outing
Austin Eguavoen, the interim head coach of the Super Falcons of Nigeria has unveiled members of his technical and backroom staff ahead of the team’s 2028 Olympics qualifying game against Comoros.
The former Super Eagles defender and coach has named Christopher Danjuma and Ayisat Yusuf as his assistant coaches, while Olatunji Baruwa will serve as a goalkeeper trainer.
Also listed by Eguavoen as support team crew members are Oboduku Mary Bose as team administrator, Garba Larai Hyedima as team doctor, and physiotherapists Nwachukwu Adaku and Onah Melody Chimkwesiri.
Others are Falokun Folashade Elizabeth who is the team coordinator, Ann Okoro who takes on the role of safeguarding officer and Dr Terry Eguaoje will serve as team analyst.

The unveiling of the technical and backroom staff of the team comes days after Eguavoen released a 28-man squad list ahead of the 2028 Olympics qualifying game against Comoros.
Players invited ahead of the first leg of the game scheduled for Friday, October 9, include: Chiamaka Nnadozie, Christy Ucheibe, Toni Payne, Jennifer Echegini and Rasheedat Ajibade.
Eguavoen also extended first time invitations to some new players including Falconets striker, Janet Akekoromowei, Favour Nkwocha and Oluwakemi Adegbuyi ahead of the game which has a return fixture set for Tuesday, October 13.
Both games between the Super Falcons of Nigeria and their counterparts will be played at the Remo Stadium after Comoros failed to provide a CAF-approved venue for the qualifying games.
