Basit Adebayo delivers brutal KO to headline Chaos in the Ring
Basit “Joker Boy” Adebayo delivered a commanding performance on Friday night, knocking out Said Mohamed Hassan in the second round of their highly anticipated bout at the Chaos in the Ring event held at the Balmoral Event Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.
Adebayo took control from the opening bell, overwhelming Hassan with relentless pressure, sharp combinations and superior ring movement. The Nigerian fighter dictated the pace of the contest, leaving his opponent struggling to find any rhythm.
The decisive moment came in the second round when Adebayo unleashed a devastating sequence of punches that sent Hassan crashing to the canvas. Despite efforts to recover, Hassan was unable to beat the referee’s count, handing Adebayo a spectacular knockout victory.

While reacting after his victory, Adebayo, who was all smiles, gave thanks to God for defeating his opponent and also reflected on how he prepared for the boxing encounter.
“First of all, I want to thank Allah. I didn’t know round two was the round. I promised him round five. I prepared for this fight, and I was determined to face off with him,” he said.
He also revealed that he is eyeing a spot as Nigeria’s leading boxer in the near future.
“I’m ready to be the face of Nigeria. I think I am currently the face of boxing in Nigeria,” Adebayo added.
