‘Glasner doesn’t like me’ – Uche reveals in farewell message to Palace fans

Talented Super Eagles midfielder Chrisantus Uche has revealed why he did not have enough playing time for Crystal Palace this season following his loan move from Spanish club, Getafe.

Uche, in a farewell message to fans of the London club, opened up on his lack of playing at Selhurst Park under German coach Oliver Glasner, which yielded 14 appearances for Crystal Palace in the English Premier League, all of which came as a substitute.

The Nigerian who needed just 10 league starts to trigger an obligation to buy contract signed between Crystal Palace and Getafe FC, admitted in the message to fans of the club that he doesn’t feel the support of Glasner.

Uche who played a total of 159 minutes in those 14 appearances, scoring 0 goals and 0 assists during the loan spell, however thanked fans of the club for their support during his time at the club.

“I may not have much playing time, but I am grateful for the fans who continue to support me and the team,” he told Read Crystal Palace.

“Your dedication and enthusiasm mean a lot and I hope to make you proud whenever I do get the chance to play but I know maybe it won’t happen again because the coach doesn’t like me.”
